BPC received a 5 MW survey license for Chino Khola Hydropower Project on 2071/11/04 (16 Feb, 2015). The feasibility study of the project has been completed, and the project capacity has been optimized at 7.9 MW. The EIA study has been approved by Ministry of Forest and Environment. Industry registration at the Department of Industry has been completed, and Connection Agreement has been signed with NEA for PPA process. The project being the project run of the river type, PPA with NEA is delayed, thus the project will be developed for construction power of Marsyangdi Cascade Projects for the time being, and subsequently the energy will be sold to NEA through a PPA.
