Job Description
- Involve in strategic planning and implementation across the Company/Functions/Business Units
- Analyze and monitor the annual operating plans of all Business Units to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Compile, analyze, and provide feedback on data through the Management Information System (MIS) of each Business Unit.
- Develop monitoring reports to track progress of Business Units in achieving strategic plan outcomes.
- Conduct periodic analysis and operational monitoring of the Projects and Subsidiaries/JV Companies.
- Identify, compile, and analyze business risks across units and projects, and present findings from financial, environmental, quality, and other relevant perspectives.
- Involve in the preparation of budget for different Functions/Business Units including CEO’s Office.
- Prepare the Company’s Annual Report, consolidating inputs from different departments to ensure comprehensive reporting.
- Involve in proposal development for new business opportunities of the Company.
- Coordinate the development of the new Green Hydrogen initiative and oversee project implementation.
- Participate in the development of other new renewable energy projects including solar projects, ensuring compliance with government processes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with the rule and regulation of BPC and prevailing act and legislations.
- Build networks and maintain liaison with stakeholders and government bodies to support hydropower project planning and development.
- Coordinate and maintain regular communication with development partners and external agencies on initiatives related to energy and gender.
- Keep track of regulatory developments and the regulatory framework relevant to Nepal’s energy sector, providing timely and informed feedback to the Management as required.
- Work in accordance with ISO requirements and ensure that systems and processes are designed and implemented in compliance with relevant ISO standards.
- Perform HR related responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Succession Planning
- Review and Assess HR Policy Effectiveness
- HR Service Assessment, Monitoring and Integration
- Monthly HR Management Information System (MIS) Preparation
- Quarterly HR Risk Review and Reporting
- Labor Act and Regulatory Reporting
- Grievance Handling
- Other Task and Responsibilities assigned by VP-Corporate.
The interested candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the recognized University and minimum 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
